Cabo San Lucas is one of the few places on earth where you can fish for billfish all year. What changes from month to month is which fish are around and how far you need to run. This calendar summarizes the typical seasons so you can plan trips — and choose a boat that fits the way you want to fish.
Cabo fishing seasons at a glance
Seasons shift every year with water temperature and currents; treat these as typical patterns, not guarantees.

| July – September | Blue and black marlin, dorado, yellowfin tuna, wahoo | Warm-water season: the big marlin arrive and dorado fill the area. Watch the weather during hurricane season. |
